foundacio.joan.miro

home sweet home. finally home! paris is a great city but too much of eating is not good to your waistline, so you going to eat light and fast for the weekend and the coming week. and at least three sessions of power zumba to shed off some fat. other than that paris is a bit wet this trip, but that doesn't affect the training, so you are one of the very few that got the privilege to be trained and now you are ready to rock leading technology market again. for now, let's go back to barcelona.
===

montjuic is an area with many sights and museum.  you decided to check out something that you didn't visit ten years ago. so you set your feet on fundacio joan miro. the line for ticket was way too long, so you changed your plan instead of wasting time in the queue.
you walk a little further and found this place amidst the secluded green, here you had your early lunch. in your case you merely eat because you're still recovering from the discomfort a night before. but the weather was pleasant to sit out. the sun is still warm.
from the lunch place you walk back to foundacion joan miro, the line is a lot shorter compare to the morning.
while he stands in the queue, you sat somewhere on the rock watching the line moving and these two carefree kids lying on the ground playing...
miro is a die hard catalan, like picasso, he is also an impressionist. perhaps not as famous as picasso but miro has churned a lot of masterpiece in his life time.
impressionist's arts are often abstract.  so abstract that you often have to guess and re-guess, and once you get acquaintance to the artist's style and expression, you guess becomes more and more accurate.
it's like a journey to get to know someone, by the end of the day, you seems to know miro much better than you first started. perhaps that's what museums are for...
the museum is big, you are tired mentally and physically after all the guessing games that you played with miro.  you rest your feet at the cafeteria, had half a gateau au chocolate to pick up your energy, your appetite is still not back but you have to eat somehow.

when you had enough from indoor exhibition, you walk out to the terrace to check out the other sculptures.  all in bright colors and quite childish in your opinion.
but that's not important, because the sky is blue, the air is crisp, the sun is still warm, that's just how barcelona should be in autumn.

happy friday!
